Her name was rising like a storm in the creative world. And something about her now… burned.
Ashley noticed too.
“She’s changed,” she said, curling her fingers around her wine glass at a gala.
Kristian didn’t answer. But he couldn’t look away from the woman on the other side of the room.
Freya looked radiant. And utterly untouchable.
When their eyes met, she simply nodded—and turned away.
